Wilson obtained his Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) degree from the Singapore Management University in January 2013 and was admitted to the Bar in May 2014.

He completed his pupillage at the firm M/s Tan Kok Quan Partnership. Thereafter, he joined the Legal Aid Bureau as an Assistant Director until September 2014.

Wilson has been actively involved in various aspects of legal practice, in particular, in the field of litigation practice.

In respect of litigation matters, Wilson handles both criminal and civil claims including civil debt claims, probate, adoption and matrimonial proceedings. He has handled various claims, including enforcement and variation proceedings. He is able to fully handle a contentious matter from start to finish.

When Wilson was in law school, he was active in mooting. He was awarded the following prizes:

  1. 2nd prize in the Harry Elias Partnership LLP moots; and
  2. 1st prize in the Rodyk Challenge, an energy law-related moot.
He is fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese. He also speaks the local dialect of Cantonese.
